To provide grants to couples in financial need and improve the reproductive health of Nigerians through reproductive health information, education, reproductive health management, provision of state art management of infertility, as well as specific research into reproductive health problems
About Our Foundation
In 2005 Prof Oladapo Ashiru started the Oladapo Ashiru Reproductive Heath Solutions (OARS) Foundation with the launching of a Reproductive Health Magazine by the Governors of Lagos and Ogun States. OARS Foundation was set up to provide IVF funding grants, and has provided free and or low-cost IVF treatment to a number of couples who are now blessed with their babies. OARS Foundation collaborates with various grants supporting services to assist couples needing infertility treatment.
How We Help
Helping couples start their families
Fighting the plague of infertility is not easy. Insurance companies refuse to cover the costs of doctors, laboratories, and drugs for those who are impacted. Many cancer survivors who have lost their fertility due to chemotherapy are unable to access fertility insurance coverage. In addition to the mental and physical anguish that infertility causes, there is the financial burden of not being able to finance treatment.
OARS Foundation recognizes that couples many struggles to afford fertility treatment and offers grants to the neediest couples throughout the year. The grants go a long way to financing IVF treatment. OARS Foundation puts joy in couples' lives with each grant, each IVF procedure, and each baby born to the couple. Above all, our grant program gives hope to those who are down on their luck. Only with community support will we be able to continue to provide hope to more people with each grant cycle.
